What you can't feel still counts.

Many heart conditions show no symptoms until they stop you. You train, add load and race without knowing what lies underneath.

The check detects signs of ischaemia, atrial fibrillation and heart failure. So you can run with peace of mind or act in time.

It's for you if…

  • You're preparing a target race
  • You're about to add distance or intensity
  • You feel discomfort with no clear cause
  • It's been more than a season since your last check-up

More precision, less effort

Compared with a conventional electrocardiogram and stress test.

Cardisio and stress test: study published in the Journal of Electrocardiology. Resting electrocardiogram: clinical studies against coronary angiography. It does not replace a medical check-up.

What you take away

Five minutes that give you answers, not guesses.

Your report

Your heart in 3D, explained by a professional.

When it's done, a healthcare professional goes through the result with you. It is saved in your Pulse personal area.

What it checks

  • Signs of ischaemia
  • Atrial fibrillation
  • Heart failure
  • Train without doubts

You know where you stand before adding distance or intensity.

  • Act in time

If something isn't right, you know before it stops you in a race.

  • See your progress

Repeat it every season and compare your heart year on year.

How it works

  1. Recording

Five electrodes are placed and your heart is recorded for four minutes.

  2. Analysis

AI processes the data and builds your 3D report in about five minutes.

  3. Result

You go through it with a healthcare professional and keep it in your personal area.

Where to do it

The check is done at the Pulse zone, inside the event: on race day. These are the active races where you can do it.

Frequently asked questions

Does it hurt or feel uncomfortable?
No. It is a non-invasive test: five electrodes are placed on your skin and you lie down for a few minutes, like an electrocardiogram.
Do I need to prepare?
No fasting or effort beforehand. We recommend arriving rested and in comfortable clothes.
Does it replace a medical check-up?
No. It is an early-detection tool that helps you know whether more tests are advisable. If the result calls for it, we guide you on the next step with your doctor.
Where do I see my result?
A healthcare professional explains it when you finish, and it is saved in your Pulse personal area.
Can I do it if I'm not running a Pulse race?
Yes. You can buy the check on its own and redeem it at any of the partner centres.
