What makes it unique

An island DEKA, before the high season

DEKA is Spartan’s functional fitness race: 10 zones (row, SkiErg, sled, medicine ball, box jumps…) that are the same all over the world, so your time compares with any DEKA. What changes between formats is how much you run before each zone.

In Ibiza the event is held at the Camp Municipal d'Esports de Sant Agustí, in the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia. Saturday is team day and Sunday is for individual DEKA FIT and DEKA MILE.

Competing on an island is a proper trip: a flight or ferry, a transfer to your accommodation and the journey home on Sunday after you compete. That is where a DEKA weekend gets complicated.

Ibiza airport is about 15 km from Sant Agustí [approximate], and there are ferries from Barcelona, Valencia and Dénia. The venue is on calle Jaén (no number).

Public transport around the island is limited in April: with the pack transfer you go from the plane or the boat to the hotel and the event without hiring a car.

  DEKA Ibiza 2027 takes place on 17 and 18 April 2027 at Camp Municipal d'Esports de Sant Agustí, Sant Agustí des Vedrà. The formats are DEKA FIT, DEKA FIT Teams, DEKA MILE and DEKA MILE Teams, and the official entry starts at €50 (DEKA MILE Teams).

• Do I need experience to do a DEKA?

  No. DEKA MILE (160 m of running between zones) and DEKA STRONG (no running) are the way in. DEKA FIT is the full format, with a 500 m run before each of the ten zones.

• Can I compete in pairs?

  Yes, in the Teams formats: you compete with a partner and share the work of each zone.

• How do I get to DEKA Ibiza?

  Fly into Ibiza airport, about 15 km from Sant Agustí [approximate], or take a ferry from Barcelona, Valencia or Dénia. Public transport around the island is limited in April, so a transfer or a hire car is the easiest way to reach the venue on calle Jaén.

• Does the pack include the race entry?
