DEKA is Spartan’s functional fitness race: 10 zones (row, SkiErg, sled, medicine ball, box jumps…) that are the same all over the world, so your time compares with any DEKA. What changes between formats is how much you run before each zone.
In Madrid the event is held at the Madrid Arena, in the Casa de Campo, with air conditioning in the middle of July. Saturday has the teams and DEKA STRONG; Sunday, individual DEKA MILE and DEKA FIT.

How to get to DEKA Madrid 2027
The Madrid Arena is on avenida de Portugal, in the Casa de Campo, with a metro stop nearby (line 10). Madrid-Barajas airport is around 25 minutes away by road.
With the pack transfer you go from the airport or the station to the hotel and the Madrid Arena without taking the metro with your kit bag.
